Rosicrucian Exercise Two ~ AACM

Rosicrucian Exercise Two

*We sometimes offer techniques, practices that we believe might help a person awaken to a more conscious state of awareness – of themselves and of God. These are RC practices which have worked and have thus been handed down. We cannot promise that these techniques will help anybody but we offer them freely. Try at your own risk. These techniques have helped many people, they may help you also – that is our wish.

So Mote It Be

There are different forms of meditations that I will not really get into. I will share some of the Rosicrucian findings regarding meditation and how it works as a “medicine” for the Christian Mystic. What is called “mindfulness meditation” has proven to enhance the amygdala region of the Brain. All long-term mediation (practiced correctly) can in fact induce structural alterations in the brain. This, along with the Sacraments, is in fact how the “Mind of Christ” [Divine Intelligence] is formed in the Human mind.

True meditation explores the nature of the Human mind. Rosicrucian's have done long term studies on the subject and continue to do so. Some practitioners have been able to keep their mind channels at between 25 and 42 hertz vibratory at will. Proper Rosicrucian meditation has been proven to help with Human health and well-being.

Good meditation can relieve stress and physical uncomfortableness.  A simple way to exercise a Rosicrucian meditation is to find a quiet place in your residence, sit in a comfortable chair. Sit straight but relaxed, you may rest your back against the chair as you sit while doing this meditation.

Place your hands on your legs, knees – with palms down if you wish. Close your eyes and rest. Breath naturally slower. This must be done when the body and mind are asking for it, there are no set times because everybody is living in their own body - the Rosicrucian begins to learn to listen to his or her body.

You should read up on how to practice different types of meditation and find the one that works best for you. The Rosicrucian also learns how to enter proper trance. We will be publishing papers on this topic soon. If you are a Rosicrucian, it is very important to make meditation a habit of your personal life.

Many Rosicrucians love to meditate in their personal home sanctuary [sanctum]. Rosicrucian's have special places inside and outside for meditation and contemplation. It is important to understand that no matter where you may be, inside or outside, you can learn to place your mind in different moods through controlled meditative techniques. Some Rosicrucian's have mastered this technique.

Please take time out to learn even simpler meditation techniques. One mustn’t meditate for long periods of time; you can accomplish much in two minutes if you know what you’re doing.

The Rosicrucian Meditation

Exercise Two

Though Rosicrucians can meditate throughout the day wherever they are at, it is good to set a special time in the morning and at night to spend some precious short time in meditation.

Basic Steps to get started:

1-Find a comfortable chair, big, small or whatever. Make sure that you are by yourself and let the environment become as still and quiet as possible.

2-Some like low instrumental background music of their choice while doing meditation. Sit in the chair straight but relaxed. You may rest your back on the chair if you have a tired or weak back. Close your eyes and breath naturally slower as you relax your thoughts and mind.

3-Place your hands palms down on your knees or legs. From here you may attempt different focus meditations, or clearing the mind of all thoughts – the goal is to connect with Divine Intelligence at a subconscious level. You can stay in this receptive mode at peace for as long as you wish.

Note: Many have discovered that by placing themselves in a bigger room than a bedroom, like a living-room or family room, will inforce the psychological idea of being in greater space – free from surrounding obstacles. Sitting in a larger dark room relaxed with eyes closed creates the outer environment for the inner exchange. But bedrooms also work just fine.

Inner Sanctum

Remember to end your day with private time – just you and God in the Inner Sanctum. Always express how you truly feel with God. Receive true forgiveness. Ask for improvement in the areas that you are aware of and to be shown the areas that you may not be aware of.

When you awake always begin your day in prayer with God’s word. Many of us have home altars, special areas inside and outside our place of residence where we can gain a more powerful experience in our personal time with God. These are places to objectify our inner moods with God. As we practice, prayer, decreeing, trance-state, meditation, etc. with God we need to always ask that we learn how to better use our objective faculties to worship Divine Intelligence - everyday use all your senses intelligibly.

Our Christianity must become our LIFE. We are learning to wear the “righteousness of Jesus Christ”, becoming a true “Rose”.

May you experience profound peace in our LORD, Jesus the Christ.
